Matt Vaughn is an imaginative and energetic litigator whose assiduous work ethic produces consistently solid results for our firm’s clients. He currently focuses on commercial lawsuits, including insurance coverage disputes, insurance broker liability claims, covenants not to compete, and intra-corporate disputes involving closely-held and family corporations. Matt’s imagination, willingness to “think outside the box” and disciplined work habits make him especially adept at issue formulation, brief writing and other facets of motion practice and trials.
Matt has been actively involved with the American, North Carolina and Wake County Bar Associations, and has served as a delegate to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates. In his off hours he enjoys hunting deer and wild turkey; traveling with his wife Debra, daughter Carver and son Eason; and following the fortunes of University of North Carolina athletic teams.
