Bill Janvier

Bill Janvier is a Board Certified Specialist in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy. He has helped individuals and businesses file successful bankruptcy cases throughout North Carolina. Bill works with business of all types, and has filed bankruptcy cases for builders, developers, restaurants, retail chains, farms, medical practices, distributors, shopping centers, office buildings, golf courses, landfills, technology companies, pharmaceutical companies, media companies, and high income individuals. He has brought and defended hundreds of adversary proceedings.

He served for a decade on the EDNC Bankruptcy Court’s Local Rules Committee, served as a panel Chapter 7 Trustee, served as Chairman of the Bankruptcy Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, served as a Director for the Eastern Bankruptcy Institute, served as a Director for the American Board of Certification, and has won most of the silly awards that are out there, including:

• Named to “Legal Elite” every year since 2006 and named to the Hall of Fame in 2018.
• Named a “Super Lawyer” every year since 2006.
• Named to “Best Lawyers in America” every year since 2007.
• Named “Lawyer of the Year” three times.
