North Carolina Court of Appeals Rules in Favor of LexisNexis in Important Public Records Case

On February 18, 2014 the North Carolina Court of Appeals ruled that a database of criminal cases maintained by the Administrative Office of the Courts is a public record.  SMVT supported LexisNexis by filing an amicus brief on behalf of several of the firm’s media clients.  To read the court’s opinion, click here.
